ASO / App Store optimization analyst

We are looking for someone to join our ever-growing Marketing team. At Fanatee, the Marketing team is one of the main motors of growth for our games. In this role, you will be expected to develop App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies aimed at maximizing store traffic and conversion rates for all of Fanatee’s games worldwide. You will own end-to-end app store optimization projects, from ideation to production, implementation and performance analysis.  

The day to day job includes: industry research, keyword research in multiple languages, competition monitoring, shaping the ASO strategy, managing multiple productions and their deadlines, proofreading and approving content and visual communication, performing data analysis and decision making.

You’ll also be the main point of contact for ASO at Fanatee, being responsible for the direct communication with all teams that play a key-role to the area, such as Product, Content and Performance teams, responsible for giving support in the creation of written and visual content in 11 different languages.

Beyond that, you will be responsible for being the point person and dealing directly with key commercial partners, such as Google, Apple and Samsung.

Main responsibilities:
Developing App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies to ensure that all games appear at the top of the search results in all applicable App stores;
Ability to manage a great variety of projects on a global scale, in multiple languages (English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish) and multiple stores (Google Play, App Store and Galaxy Store).
Optimizing conversion rates for app download pages by utilizing various content and visual tools;
Monitoring and tracking app store rankings using the latest analytic tracking tools;
Flexibility and rapid response mindset;
Communication Expertise: Strong communication skills to be able to interact efficiently with stakeholders, marketing teammates and multiple teams;
Data Driven Digital Marketing Experience: ASO knowledge required, preferably in the mobile games industry;
Game KPIs: Deep understanding of all core game and business KPIs, how they impact each other and comfortable working with analytics teams to produce detailed data driven reports and insights;
Organized: You are highly organized and can focus on several projects at once.
It is not mandatory for the candidate to live in São Paulo (where Fanatee’s offices are located), but trips may be eventually required.

Skills Requirements
  • Experience of data driven digital marketing - ASO (2+ years);
  • A good understanding of the mobile gaming market and app stores;
  • Organized, analytical and detail-oriented with ability to work under own initiative;
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written (English language);
  • Energy, drive & an obsession with monitoring and iterating for optimisation.
